"Great Watch so its worth dealing with replacement bands" 04/04/11
So i need wear my Suunto rather "hard", and use it rather often. The watch is great so it makes having to replace the band ever 18-24 months worth it. I would 100% recommend getting the "Watch Repair Tool Spring Bar Remover Pin Pusher Scale" on Ebay for around $5. The other option is taking it a watch store and having them charge you $10-$20. Great watch, worth the band replacement.

I guess I should be glad that the multi-hundred dollar watch (sorry, wrist-top computer) does not have to be replaced as often as the band. The battery has the common decency to die almost on cue with the strap, so I just save the hassle and replace both annually when I see the first crack in the watc . . .rist-top computer band.I DID NOT rate this Total Crap because: 1--The band is in fact very comfy, and 2--Outside of the $99+ bands, it is the only one made to fit the . . . device. So buy the band, not because you want to, but because you have to. It's not that bad; at least you own a great . . . watch-- there I said it, I called it a watch--a fancy, fancy watch. Live with it.

Talk about being surprised when I needed a new watch band because the original one was falling apart on me. Leave it to Moosejaw to have exactly what I needed in stock. The fit and finish is perfect. I expect to get at least 3 or more years out of the new band.

The stainless band is fantastic-- a tremendous improvement to the ergonomics and stability of my Suunto Observer. With this band, the watch is much more comfortable and the watch itself does not rotate around my wrist-- a constant irritant with the old polymer band. This band band is also very eye-catching and really dresses up the Observer. Definitely one of the greatest bands of all time...

This is the dreamiest watch band I could ever have imagined! It's so amazingly sylish and sexy that now all the hot girls in Austin follow me down the street stroking my wrist while asking me where I got this incredibly sexy watch band. I only wish that it would fit around my waist, as I normally wear my watch there and can only imagine how much more sexy that would make me! This is truly a break through in relationship building!

Love the watch, but I REALLY HATE having to buy a replacement watch band every two years. The band supplied my Moosejaw is OEM equipment. It fits like the original manufacturers band duh - I wonder why?

Oh how does one rate a watch band? The original broke after a lot of abuse so I wont complain but the replacement quality seems top notch. Be warned- you need a tiny, little phillips-head screw driver to install. Buying this item from a secondary supplier wont work...you need the original.

This is my third replacement in four years. I don't think thats too bad considering I wear it 24/7. The phot of the order shows new spring hinges. I didn't recieve those in my order. But I reused the existing. I just realized that right now. I think it was supposed to include them. I will live because that's how I role. Role with me.

"Good band but very difficult to get on the watch" 09/05/07
I had to take the watch to two jewelry stores to get it on the watch. I don't know how an individual can install the band without the proper tools. I tried myself and found it impossible to get on. Nice looking band but should not be so difficult to install.
