Up to speed, serious equipmentBought for 12yr old son on direction of PT. Put them in broken-in, but nice Saucony 'athletic' shoes, immediate help for over pronation. These are very rigid inserts. I thought sure he would complain of pain on the first day since he'd gotten used to wearing a sloppily tied shoe despite my protests. Opposite. He says they make him feel better and walk better while making his body work a little bit to strengthen a couple muscles related to posuture, even on day one. Since we're working on his core body strength and posture a bit I can see why the PT recommended this product and it is a fraction of the cost of standard orthotics. Cheers.

Ahhh Sweet ReliefI am an avid hiker in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Hiking on rocky trails and bolder fields takes its toll. Over the years, I have started to have problems with my feet - Plantar Fasiciitis. Hiking more than 10 miles in a day became painful and the following days were painful. I have excellent boots that fit great, so boots were not my problem (and I use trekking poles). After much research and reading, (with scepticism) I decided to try Superfeet. WOW!! What a difference! Next backpacking trip out, I hiked for three days and my feet felt great. Did all of my pain disappear - no. But most of the pain was gone. Very impressed with Superfeet.

Turn good foot wear into little slices of heaven on your feetOn my feet 8-10 hrs a day at work, lots of standing and walking. Presently wear a high quality pair of Danner boots, but still experiencing a bit of lower back and knee pain after a few hours. Mr. Green (the General) at the Grosse Pointe store recommended I try these inserts out. The improvement in boot fit and all day comfort was astounding. These things live up to hype. The inserts basically align your feet, ankles, knees, hips, and back the way they're supposed to be, relieving muscle and joint strain. Amazing how a piece of plastic and some sort of foam can energize you. Wont be sorry if one was to purchase these.

Very comfortable, especially for high archesI recently bought these and then went on a 10-mile hike (with mild elevation in frequent hills). These inserts were vastly superior to the inserts that came with my boots. I have very high arches, and these inserts provide the support I need.,,,,They were very easy to use. The inserts are made long so you can trim them down to size for a perfect fit. There is 1 guideline that helps you cut evenly (you can vaguely see it in the picture on the gray side of the insert). I removed the original inserts, laid them on top of my superfeet (left on right for a mirror image) and then marked where I should cut.,,,,I am very glad I purchased them and would do so again in a snap!

Sworn by them for yearsWhat can I say. I really do not know what I would do without them. I have them in my running shoes, trail shoes, climbing boots, etc. etc. I had expensive orthotics made a few years ago because I broke my toe, but I prefer the superfeet. They do take a work out or two to mold to your feet. Therefore, I avoid putting new superfeet into new shoes/boots. I usually put them into my shoes that are nearing retirement and then transfer them to my shoes after I have molded them. They also last a long time. I have found that integrity of the superfeet is maintained until the superfeet lettering is worn off.

Improved stability and shock absorbtion, buy them on sale.So these inserts replace the original insoles in my Vasque Velocitys. I wear a guys 10.5M shoe and the Green size E fit perfectly. no modification necessary. Slipped the originals out and the Superfeet in. The Superfeet are trim-able to fit a variety of sizes and come with instructions and of course pictures for those of you who can't read. At first the arch seemed to be set back toward the heel a little far, but the Superfeet booklet mentioned that that might be the case and your feet would adjust. They claim that where they put the arch is the right place ( and I guess left place, too) Anyway, they were right (and left) after a few hundred feet I didn't notice it at all. I'm a backpacker n

Superfeet: A super choice for a replacement insole. After hearing from everyone that there are THE insoles to get, i got them. Yes, they are all they're cracked up to be. At first look, they didn't appear to have much cusion like the neoprene Spenco's have and the plastic heel stabilizer looked like it might be too stiff and uncomfortable. That was the whole reason I shyed away; I thought I needed spongy cushioning. <BR>Boy was I wrong! The arch is nice and high and supportive. It looks high but doesn't feel too high. Maybe it is because it is positioned and formed correctly unlike more common insoles. The size chart on the Moosejaw site is confusing and I actually had to go to Superfeet's website to make sure I was ordering correctly. I beli

Have always wanted to splurge on these, but couldn't pull the trigger until........ I earned enough Moosejaw points to get them for free! I have high arches and a neutral foot but have problems with my knees and lower legs so need all the cushioning I can get. I used to buy the $10-$15 dollar cushioned insoles from the drug store, but they cannot compare to Superfeet! I used to work at a running store and couldn't believe that people would drop $90 on a pair of running shoes, then add $40 on top of that for a pair of SuperFeet, but now it all makes sense! Thanks Moosejaw for the option to earn great rewards such as these! Awesome treat for my feet for the holidays!
I was wondering if anyone has tried these in a Gortex lined boot?
If so did you have any ventilation issues with this insole?
And if you did have ventilation issue do you have sweaty feet?
Asked by: Nick2204
Hiya Nick, thanks for your question! The Green insole is used in a lot of Gore-Tex boots because it has a flat surface on the bottom, which will not aggravate the Gore-Tex lining. As for ventilation issues, most Gore-Tex boots are going to be less breathable by design. If you are not accustomed to wearing Gore-Tex, you may experience a difference in breathability of the boot. The Superfeet insole should not have any impact on this.
The Green insole by design will have a foam construction and fabric top cover which allow the feet to move and breath easily through the gate cycle. If you experience an increase in sweating or lack of ventilation, it would more likely be caused by the boot than the insole. Hope this helps!
