"Up to speed, serious equipment" 05/03/13
Bought for 12yr old son on direction of PT. Put them in broken-in, but nice Saucony 'athletic' shoes, immediate help for over pronation. These are very rigid inserts. I thought sure he would complain of pain on the first day since he'd gotten used to wearing a sloppily tied shoe despite my protests. Opposite. He says they make him feel better and walk better while making his body work a little bit to strengthen a couple muscles related to posuture, even on day one. Since we're working on his core body strength and posture a bit I can see why the PT recommended this product and it is a fraction of the cost of standard orthotics. Cheers.
"Great for long days in boots" 01/07/13
These are great for hiking or working in boots for long hours. I spend a lot of time on my feet for work and outdoor activities, and i can attest that Superfeet (green) have helped to reduce my plantar fasciitis and knee discomfort. They are a bit pricey, but worth the money if you are on your feet all day.
"keep my feet feeling good" 12/27/12
I have two pairs of asolo all leather boots. I use one for hiking and the other older ones for work at my farm where I'm on my feet 12 hours a day standing, running, jumping, kicking, you name it. I flip flop these insoles back and forth and let me tell you, it's night and day. I am pain free as far as my feet are concerned. I can't imagine my boots without them. These are super easy to cut to size and take out and in.
"excellent addition to boots" 12/16/12
I have two sets of these insoles. one in a pair of lowa boots the other in a pair of crispi boots. The insoles do make the boot fit a little bit more snug, but nothing that would cause a difference in sizing based upon my experience. These insoles are not get and soft but offer a solid firm foot bed for miles upon miles of blister free stable fit for your boots and footwear.. the superfeet are much more durable than other cheaper insoles i have used in the past.. a good product
"Ahhh Sweet Relief" 07/05/12
I am an avid hiker in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Hiking on rocky trails and bolder fields takes its toll. Over the years, I have started to have problems with my feet - Plantar Fasiciitis. Hiking more than 10 miles in a day became painful and the following days were painful. I have excellent boots that fit great, so boots were not my problem (and I use trekking poles). After much research and reading, (with scepticism) I decided to try Superfeet. WOW!! What a difference! Next backpacking trip out, I hiked for three days and my feet felt great. Did all of my pain disappear - no. But most of the pain was gone. Very impressed with Superfeet.
"Makes all the difference" 03/26/12
They will surely feel awkward the first few weeks if you've never used them before but it's worth it. I have a lot of knee problems and with these in my shoes I can feel my entire leg gain strength. Keeping you foot in the right position helps your posture and I have much less knee pain. Highly recommended.
"Couldn't be happier" 03/16/11
I was having problems with plantar fascia which caused my feet to really ache. Got a pair of these for my hiking boots and the problem has cleared up. Have a pair in all my outdoor footwear now, well worth the money. Placed a pair in my new mountaineering boots and did 14 miles and two peaks in the Adirondacks and my feet felt great at the end of the day.
"so far so good" 12/30/10
i've grabbed 3 pairs so far and they have reduced discomfort in my feet. they dry quick and fit well to my feet in boots, trail runners and my work shoes (i'm on my feet about 15-18 hrs a day so i dont think you can ever get rid of all pain but these help delay it by a few hours)
"A must for real hikers and backpackers." 12/03/10
I used these inserts in all four of my shoes during my AT thru hike. While my shoes feel apart, these inserts took all the punishment I could dish out. The offer greater support and will make those crappy rocks feel like walking on level trail. If you do anything outdoors then you need to own a pair of these.
"Turn good foot wear into little slices of heaven on your feet" 10/24/10
On my feet 8-10 hrs a day at work, lots of standing and walking. Presently wear a high quality pair of Danner boots, but still experiencing a bit of lower back and knee pain after a few hours. Mr. Green (the General) at the Grosse Pointe store recommended I try these inserts out. The improvement in boot fit and all day comfort was astounding. These things live up to hype. The inserts basically align your feet, ankles, knees, hips, and back the way they're supposed to be, relieving muscle and joint strain. Amazing how a piece of plastic and some sort of foam can energize you. Wont be sorry if one was to purchase these.
