Rated 4 out of 5 by from All you need, nothing you don't This is an excellent PFD that has everything you really need without all of the other fancy rescue things most people won't ever use. The side zip is sweet and the PFD has a spot for your knife, as well as a pocket with a key-ring for your keys, whistle... what ever. The pocket is also great for stashing some powerbars to eat on the river w/o having to take your skirt off. This PFD is very well priced, allowing you to save your money for gas to get to the river.

When you order, make sure to measure and get the correct size, I have to pull the straps on mine all the way to get it to fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sweetest amidst swells Upon seeing this sleek, stylish PFD online, I knew that I just had to have it! Not only was it available in several awesome colors- but my favorite as well- a vibrant orange! Once my bundle of orange joy made its way to my dorm room at school I instantly zipped it on. Also I was not risking my life in a torrential storm at sea with building swells, I felt safe, secure and quite comfortable in my vest. My friend also seemed to feel safe in it as he continually tried to have me punch at him as he tried it on. All in all- I can't wait to go paddling with it! (The vest I mean,...not my friend.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wedge-E on the gutt This pfd works well for paddling, it doesn't get in the way and it adjusts well to fit. I just think its a bit chunky up front though. Felt a big block on my chest at first but as time went on it sorta molded itself to my shape. Not very breathable on the bare skin as some other pfd's I've worn but it is worthy of purchasing for paddling around in. The back panel is thinner so it worked well with the backrest in my kayak...As long as you can stomach the "wedge-E" on your gutt it will eventually leave you satisfied.......Hugwild

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great vest. It will make you happy This is by far the best pfd under $100. It is even better than my previous pfd which was constructed from 2x4's and baler twine. Whether you whitewater kayak or go touring this pfd fits great, offers the storage of a small pack mule and stays comfortable for hours. I'm a skinny lad and it fits me great. My friend is extra stout and it adjusts to his gut as well. It is the next best thing to kayaking naked (although I don't usually recommend it).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very good safe buy!!! I'm happy with this pfd. I never thought of actually wearing one while training with my Mako surfski in open ocean. I've noticed no one really wears them over here. Many simply attach their pfd to their surfskis/one-man outrigger canoes.....not me!!! The Wedge E is actually comfortable and allows me to perform my strokes without any problem. It only took me 2 times out paddling for a proper fit. Now I don't mine wearing one every-time I go out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all-around PFD This is a great PFD. I'm using it with my new kayak! It's quite comfortable to wear which is good b/c really who wants to wear one? But I hardly notice it. It rubs under the arms if you don't tighten it around the waist enought, which i guess is a good way to get you to tighten it properly. Anyway, I'm glad I bought this one instead of the much more expensive ones. It works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If your shopping for a PFD, buy this one and save some time. This PFD freaking rocks, it's very comfortable and low riding but snug fitting. The mesh pocket on the front is wonderful for food and light gear, I personally use the straps on the sides to hang water bottles from. Well worth the investment if your required to wear one in a race, you won't even notice it's on!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performs as it should with a comfortable fit Purchased for river/ocean kayaking. Over all this is a premium PFD with a comfortable fit that gives your arms the ability to maneuver like some others do not. This would be an ideal vest for boaters, and cannoers. Kayakers may want to try a vest with a high back setup depending on your kayaks seat setup.
