The Sterling Rope Accessory Cord comes in assorted colors and a wide range of diameter options, making them extremely versatile for climbing, recreation, rescue, and utility applications. Many people take accessory cord quality for granted; however, there is a difference. Sterling Rope cords are unique and they believe better in many ways. Sterling Rope twists the sheath yarn which makes their cords last longer and handle better. Sterling also works with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) offering them an endless variety of cords that are functional, durable, and even fashionable. Warning: Accessory cords are not for use as climbing ropes! Sorry for yelling about it. These Sterling Rope cords are packaged in pre-cut lengths.

"Great for prusiks and cordelette"  03/26/12

I use the 5mm for my prusik knots and the 7mm for cordelettes. You can't go wrong with Sterling Rope. I definitely recommend both of these sizes.

I use the 6mm for prusiks and it works very well. It knots well and holds tight. Good cord for a good price.

"Great cord - some of the best out there"  10/11/10

7mm is used for my cordelette/equalette/quad setups for anchors. Super strong and durable, worth bringing on any climb. Great quality for the price and so versatile.
