"Use a Nut Tool to help untie knot"  12/02/09

These are great, but a little stiff and hard to tye and untie. But there totally worth it if you need the extra breaking strength.

"Its ultra tough and reliable, hard to knot and cut..."  11/26/09

Been using this for a while now, all for a number of utilities from Anchors, prussicks, general cord and slings. And one thing is, its tough! Takes a real beating and comes out no worse for wear. Much stronger than other 6mm cord around, and once a knot is set and underload it grips amazingly well.As others have said, its quite stiff and can be hard to perform some knots with. It also needs a bit more care than other cord when you cut it to lengths. Still that hasn't stopped me buying more of it!

"I have this stuff, and its great for anchors!"  05/12/09

I don't know what the other people are talking about tough to tie, they must be beginners. I have the 7.6 mil, and I find it easy to tie. Plus i used mine extensively over the last year, and other than some dirt, discoloration, it shows no signs of wear so far.

Thick, yet nimble. Very easy to tie any knot you need and strong enough you could almost use it as a primary.... Mind you I said almost.

Nice piece of cord. A little stiff at first but it just gets better. I use this for all my anchoring needs.

"Not that great"  10/23/07

I hate to give it such a bad rating, but I do have problems with this cordelette. It is strong and thin, but it is SO stiff. Very difficult to tie some of the knots.

"Very Strong but tough to work with"  02/18/07

Sterlings powercord is a strong product (it should be at 4800lb.), however it feels more like wire than cord at times and makes some knots very tough to tie. Personally, for anchoring, I prefer sterling's 7mm cordlette.
