They fit like a glove. Disagree with the other reviewer that they feel bad, they are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned and I own a lot of boots. They are warm without being too hot, they do look awesome and they grip the snow like a snow cat. Very pleased!!!
These boots look amazing and feel well made (materials-wise): if you're looking for a fashionable boot that doesn't make you look like you have cankles, this is it. Unfortunately, these boots are also very uncomfortable. As another reviewer has pointed out, the seam where the leather meets the rubber right over the top of the foot digs into your foot. This is not very comfortable. Overall, I would suggest trying these out and seeing if they fit you. If they do: big score. If not, I'd try out the Joan of Arctic line.
"Cute as all get out, uncomfortable as hell."
I was so excited to get these boots. I had tried on other Sorel (specifically the Joan of Arctic style) and loved the fit. Ordered these, but when they arrived they were horribly uncomfortable. The seam where the front rubber meets the top of the boot (right at the top of your foot) was quite pronounced and really hurt my foot -- I couldn't imagine spending any length of time standing in them, let alone walking in them. Too bad since they really are great looking!
I had previously purchased the Sorel Joan of Arc boots. The Cate the Great are a much better fit, with all the same great features of style and warmth without being so clunky and hard to walk in.You can lace them much tigher so there is not slipping in the heel....I bought a 6.5 which is my regular size):
