I ordered these to wear to a country/redneck wedding. After reading the instructions on the Moosejaw box to bite open the package I discovered that my teeth aren't as strong as they used to be. I'm 50 years old...good thing I don't have dentures.Anyway, I love the shoes! The are comfy and don't make your feet sweat! I got quite a few nice compliments at the wedding.
It's already very hot and humid here in Texas, and I've been wearing this since February. Not only it looks cool and stylish (I got lots of compliments), but also it is so comfy and lightweight. It's SOREL, and they are famous for quality shoes. The vent lets the air going through so it keeps my feet dry and cool. No break in time, comfy right out of the box (actually it is one of the most comfy shoes I've ever own). Especially, I have wide feet and this is perfect for someone like me. FYI, I wear 8.5 and 8.5 is just right.
literally. i love the way the shoes vent. of course it's too cold to wear them now. i think they run a bit big if you're going by US sizes (which is how moosejaw sells them.) i got my usual size 8 and noticed that it was labeled inside as euro size 40. i always wear euro 39 so that's why the 8 felt big, especially in the front. moosejaw is great about exchanges and is sending me a 7.5 ASAP, just in time for heavy winter downpours. seriously, they are super cute, very lightweight and i love the bright colors and can't wait to wear them.
Every time I'm at Partridge Creek, I run into Moosejaw & ask to try them on... they were finally on sale so I justified my purchase! So comfortable (: They are an accuarate fit. I have a wide foot and typically wear an 8 or 9, but in the Red Coral Sorel's a 8.5 fit nicely! One of the employees happen to be wearing her mom's Sorels from the 80's so they should last a long time!!!!!!!!!
