"Great Boot" 03/03/10

I spent 3 nights 4 days climbing Mt Whitney in the middle of February in these boots and they kicked butt. I put on a pair of Black Diamond Neve crampons the they worked great with this boot. I sweated through the boot on the hikes and in 15 degree temps they never dryed out but my feet were warm. Climbing out of a sleeping bag into frozen boots is no fun but surprisingly my feet warmed the boots and the toes were toasty. I crossed stream and they never leaked. Show shoes worked great with them. The boots were damp from sweat the entire trip but my feet were never cold.

"Used this boot to climb Mt Whitney in middle of February and it did great." 03/03/10

I spent 3 nights 4 Days climbing Mt Whitney in the middle of February and these boots kicked butt. I put on a pair of Black Diamond Neve crampons on and they worked great with these boots. Snow shoes worked great. I sweated through the boots on the hikes and 15 degee temps never allowed the boots to dry out but surprissingly my feet felt warm in damp boots the entire trip, and in the morning climbing out of a sleeping bag into frozen boots is no fun but they actually kept my feet warm. I crossed streams and they did not leak water. These boots did not disappoint me one bit. If you can't afford $300.00 mountaineering boots these will get the job done without disappointment.

"Comfortable, warm and do they look bad ass!!!" 10/13/09

The perfect winter boot. Warm, comfortable and what a secure fit. Wear the boot snowmobiling, around town, and walking my my lab through the woods. These boots have been to hell and back. And they still look fantastic. A must have for the winter enthusiast!

"Highly Functional with Looks to Boot" 02/18/08

The boots fit well one size larger than shoe size, are warm, keep the toes dry, look great, and pass the inspection of a TEENAGED kid hands down. I don't have to remind him to put the boots on because he likes them! And for a little reading entertainment when the snomobile leaves him stranded on the trail, the tags are still on the boots! Must be some cool, yet twisted, teenager thing - Mom.

"Nice boot" 02/01/08

Overall nice boots. Spend half of day on the snow and in the water. Boots did not let any moisture in kept me warm as well. Little bit on heavy side. Also the strap that tightens around to keep the snow out bothered me a bit. It seems nice feature, but constantly pressures your leg.

"Winter Tested and Approved!" 01/23/08

These boots are across the boards the finest winter footwear I have ever owned. I work and play in New Hampshire and these boots have seen 3+' deep snow and subzero conditions regularly. My feet have been kept warm, dry and protected like no other boot has done.

"well worth it for comfort and warmth." 01/10/08

I ordered these boots just after Christmas and right before my birthday, gift to myself....because if you can't love yourself, who can you love? Anyway, it had been dumping snow on New England and I thought these boots would make a great replacement for my old different style Sorels that I wore out shoveling snow and snowmobiling, all around manly stuff you know. I hate to say that I haven't been able to test them out like I would like to have by this time. For some reason, the weather turned and it has been unseasonably warm melting most of the snow away. So, I have been wearing these boots around the house and here and there. They work great as house shoes and I am sure will do even b

"Buy these boots right now!" 05/26/07

This is the second pair I've bought. The first pair I bought in 2001, and recently retired them for sentimental reasons, even thought they peobably would have lasted another 6 years no problem. If you live someplace wet or snowy, this is the boot for you

"These boot are great. (for me)." 03/26/07

This is my second pair of Conquest boots I own. I am a Mailman in Berwyn, Illinois, 60402. I thank you people for stocking 15W in black. I have very little worry about footing when I have these boots on. I don't get over confident these are very good boots. These boots are comfortable to walk in and are not bulky to go up stairs in (for me ). Thank you for filling my order in a no shit fashion and getting them to me in as little time as posible.

"Two big toes up - so far." 01/17/07

I've worn the boots (Sorel Conquest) twice now in snowy, 15 to 20F conditions and so far I'm impressed. One sock or two didn't make a difference in warmth although two socks were more comfortable. <BR><BR>I especially like the overall stiffness of the boots - the main reason I bought them - because I'm going up and down ladders and need the support that stiffness provides so my feet don't get sore. <BR><BR>The gator is a nice feature although the pullcord gets in the way of lacing up the boot a little. The boot is easy to put on and take off, and so far is everything I hoped it would be. Time is the real test though so I won't admit these are the best cold weather boots I ever had because I

"Intense" 12/20/06

Very serious boots. Before even trying them on they looked intimidating. After wearing them around awhile (awaiting first snowfall) they seemed uber comfortable and extremely form fitting because of full laceup and buckle that can be released to loosen up boot while relaxing.
