I used these boots in the Chicago 2010/11 winter. Primary use was getting to work and back from train station. Served the purpose well. Waterproof. Comfortable. Moderate warmth. If you are going to be outside for long period of time in the cold there are warmer options but this is a good overall winter boot if you won't be outiside for many hours. Good purchase.
