Lightweight and super durable. If you're going to haul your junk up a mountain, half way up you're going to be very happy that you choose titanium. I've found snow peak's stuff to stand up to the test of time. If you want your coffee to stay warm longer, I can recommend the DIY cozy instructions found here: http://jwbasecamp.com/Articles/MugMods/index.html. Then you can have insulation comparable to double-wall mug but you can cook in the mug directly over heat which you can't with a double-wall. I can make coffee for 2 with this mug right on the fire/stove.

I was unsure when i brought this because who wants to spend 30 dollars on a mug. well. let me tell you that everyone should own one of these. i use it all the time!

"This is my favorite one." 07/28/11

I have owned several mugs and this one by far is the best. Just got it in the mail and already love it. It is super light and it is way better then anything that i could have expected.

"Badass Coffee!" 11/30/10

I have to admit that I've had more fun with this in the office than on the trail. Everyone is in amazement of how light it is and how the double-walled construction is "cool" to the touch and keeps my coffee warm.

"Light....Durable...and Super Rad Titanium!!!" 09/14/10

The perfect cup for my needs.Titanium -- CheckLight -- CheckDurable -- CheckMakes my spruce tea tastes that much better. And it is large enough to use for noodles too :)Plus anything titanium is killer!

"Lightweight, durable, titanium, great solo cup" 04/16/10

This is an excellent titanium mug for those who plan on camping solo. Its perfect for freezer bag meals, as it has 2 cups+ capacity. It comes packed with a netsack. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a lid. You can find custom lids online though. I use mine as a cookpot/ drinking cup. I've used it with esbit, canister stoves, and alcohol stoves...love it! If you're an ultra light fanatic, go with the sp450, but for everyone else, stick with the 600.

"Best Ti wear in the buisness" 02/16/10

I own alot of snow peak cookwear, an this cup is great around the house or out by the campfire. Also since its single wall constructin you can cook with. Stick to Snow peak and for the extra coin you gear will last a LONG time

"Lightweight cooking anyone?" 08/02/09

I really enjoy using this mug for my back-country cooking needs. I am a minimalist who just needs to boil a couple of cups of water for a freeze dried meal, and then maybe some water for a cup of tea in the evening and morning. The volume is perfect, the weight is crazy light, and it combines perfectly with a titanium esbit wing stove for use with tablet fuel to make a great little cooking pot. This cup is rugged and withstands my abuse. I have had no issues with this mug and wish they made a titanium lid for it, but if you want to make a lid for this just get a side cutter can opener and a large can (4" diameter) of diced tomatoes. The lid is perfect to use as a lid when flipped over.

"Versitile and durable." 01/20/08

It's a shame titanium costs so much otherwise I'd make sure ever metal object I own was made of it. Buying this cup actually started a debate in which I had to argue that though it's made of metal, it'd take quite the impact to dent this sucker. 30 minutes later I had made no progress in reassuring my friend, but i still had a flawless titanium mug in my hand, dent free.
