Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was amazed on how lite and durable this was! So I think like most, when I was paying $40.00 for a cup I was a bit worried... but then when I received my package from Moosejaw and opened this bad boy up. All of those worries were thrown out the window! This mug is amazing! I have used it many times now and it still looks and acts like it is right out of box. You can just use it to drink your hot tea or coffee from... or actually just set it on top of your stove and boil water for food or drink. How much better does it get for such a great looking mug? The handles do not get too hot but the mug gets very hot... I just bought the Hot Lips by Snow Peak and that solved the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, durable... AWESOME! I've wanted one of theses for a long time, but never wanted to shell out the money to get one. I finally gave in, and I'm glad I did. Worth every penny I spent. This cup is so light and looks to be very well-made. I'm sure it will last a long time. It weighs next to nothing, so it will accompany me on all my backpacking trips in the future. The folding handles are a space-saver, and the size is perfect for a cup of coffee. Not sure how well it retains heat yet. It says not to put it over a flame, but I will try it anyway. Got the pinkish-purple color so my brother won't be tempted to lift it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be bigger, could be cooler I switched from this one to the double-walled one that costs $15 more as drinking it hot the single-walled mug was burning my lips. Since then the Hot Lips Snow Peak product selling for about $6 has come out. If you use the Hot Lips with this mug that is not a problem.,,,,Being single walled this does have one advantage over the double-walled one I now have - this one you can heat on a flame (if you're careful).,,,,I forgot to say I switched to the 600ml double walled cup. It holds much more tea than this one. (this one is 450ml not quite enough for this dedicated tea addict).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, good capacity, but your friends try to steal it After years of wanting one I finally gave it and spent the moolah on a nice mug. This thing is light, really light, and big enough to pack my squishy bowl and folding spork in it to save space. I went with the single wall design because I drink my coffee fast in the morning if it's cold outside the tent, so I'm not really concerned with it's insulating capabilities. You want one, you need one, then your friends try to steal it so you go and purchase a big knife to protect your ti-baby. Buy this unless you like a heavier pack and hate coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from last year i went cheap with a gas station travel mug. this year i am stylin' in silver titanium. i brought this superlight cup to Isle Royale with me, it was great. a nice cuppa hot tea that actually tastes like tea, not metal or plastic! on a brisk evening on the shores of Superior can't be beat. i like that this cup is not only ultralight, but sturdy. it held the heat surprisingly well, though you'll definitely want to use the handle. when my tea cooled off, i popped the cup on my lil stove for about 20 sec to reheat. i like the way the handles fold out to a nice ergonomic shape so i always kept a firm grip. i love this cup!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great cup but consider the 600 I've had this cup for 3 or 4 years now it is great, use it on my stove all the time. I don't take pots and pans on most trips if I'm doing dehydrated stuff just this cup. If you're going to use it for heating water for food i would highly recommend the 600 their bigger cup. The 450 doesn't hold enough water for most 2 serving meals. There isn't much difference in price and they both weigh nearly nothing. If you're buying a titanium cup the difference in price isn't going to bankrupt you. Get one you can use for everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last mug you'll ever need!! This is one awesome mug. It is extremely light yet very strong and durable. The anodized colors are really cool too. I expect this mug to last me a lifetime. I've been backpacking all over Asia and having a mug like this is really comforting and convienient. It's always clean (cause your in control of that), and always there when you need it because it is so light you can take it everywhere. I am just really impressed with this thing. I felt a little weired about spending so much on a cup, but I am really glad I did. Get it!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool but doesnt deliver anything extra I got this cup as a present from a friend who has the double wall cup from snow peak. I guess its kind of cool with the titanium and all, but I wouldnt really say I need it. A steel cup will not break either and isnt that much heavier. For what it is its just too pricey and I would not buy it myself; instead, go for the double wall cup which is brilliant and keeps your drink cold or warm much longer than this one. ,,Still, its does its job and gives you a slightly cooler image than those poor steel cupped buddies.
