"Lightweight and Versatile" 08/11/11

Like all other Snowpeak products, the Mini Solo Hybrid Cookset is a must have. It doesn't matter if your a backpacker or a car camper, this is a great kit. Its super lightweight, durable and very versatile. You can cook and eat out of the titanium cup. You can heat up hot chocolate in it. You can use it brush you teeth out of in the morning, and that pot holder/lid thing is genius! The silicone cup/bowl makes a great biscuit holder too!

"Once you use it, you'll forget what it was like NOT to have it." 02/11/11

Out of the box, my first impression was that it was all show with little go. I figured the yellow silicone lid and cup/hot pad would not last a single outing, but I was wrong; the stuff is deceptively sturdy and extremely efficient. As with most worth while things, there is a slight learning curve. The lid will shoot steam from both ends of the seam and it is imperative to position stream away from the handle. It holds a pack of Ramen perfectly. 2 cups H20, flavor packet and broken up noodles, bring to boil and remove from burner. Keep lid on for five minutes, then you've got dinner! Awesome new toy.

"I would recommend this product to people who want to go lite, without sacrificing performance." 02/09/11

The snow peak mini solo cookset is great. It is lighter than most other cooksets, and is very compact. It is a little small for preparing larger meals, but then again it is a mini solo cookset. It has room to boil the amount of water required for any freeze dried meal, which is all you really need. Overall it's a great product
