The Smith Serpico Sunglasses are disguised within this timeless silhouette is a 9x3 toric lens that delivers a bold look and excellent coverage. With these Smith Sunglasses what you see is what you get. Totally not the same as looking through a fishbowl. Classic silhouettes fused with modern design and lens technology. Sculptural elements are expertly cast into durable lightweight alloys with a medium to large face coverage. Oh, that's genius.
I bought the silver pair for my boyfriend for his birthday. He typically buys really cheap sunglasses at the gas station so I decided to get him a nice pair for a change. He absolutely loves them! They seemed to fit his large head very well. He also loved how durable they are...he sat on them and they didn't break! He just had to bend one of the arms a little and they looked brand new again!
Went on a Caribbean cruise with them and they were perfect. Someone even tried to buy them from me while we were on an island. They look good on pretty much everybody, but most importantly, they feel good and do work!
As the title says, I like the lenses and fit better than a pair of equivalent Ray Bans that were stolen from me. Also about $60 less than the Ray Bans I was looking at to replace. Little details like my own eye/face reflection in these is less, curvature is better on the sides, weight feels much lighter. They fit my rather large head very well (7 5/8" cap size) although just on the verge of small. If Moosejaw sold the "Lineup"s I would have gotten those as they look bigger on Smith's site. My only complaint is I wish the hinges were spring loaded as that makes one hand emergency sun application more convenient (hence 4 stars).
I love these glasses. A friend of mine told me to try these little eyelids a try so I did. The polarization on these guys is awesome and for a great price!!!! I wear these all the time as I also love my NATIVES!!! I'm not hear to talk about those that's another review and 100 points. Anyways, if you like or are in need of a pair of polarized glasses you won't be sorry that you bought them. They're pretty light weight and make you look like Maverick from Top Gun, at least that's what I think, lol. Buy these and forget about it!!!
Use these sunglasses everyday and SMITH has a great warranty program on their products. They have a few scratches on them now after 2 years of use but they've been through hell. Recommended buy, just ordered a new pair of these in the polarized model.
...unless it's dark out. Seriously love these. They look good on everyone, regardless of face-size. They have the perfect aviator look, the Smith brand rocks, and you don't end up broke buying these. I've had them for nearly a year now and there's not a scratch on them, despite many drops and not storing them well.
These are possibly my favorite pair of aviators yet, they once again meet my two baseline requirements, sturdy and stylish. This pair of aviators has been with me for about 2 months and i wear them everywhere, by far my favorite aviator design ever!
"Best aviators hands down. Forget Ray Bans - they are for poor people."
Looked for the perfect pair of aviators for a lonnnggg time. Probably too long. Saw these at an REI and tried them on. Sick glasses, great wrap around fit. Moosejaw has a great price on these! Al Pacino better have a pair...
