"Not itchy and warm!" 01/18/12
When I read the word "wool" I think itchy, but these socks are awesome! I pulled them out of the pack and took them for a run. My feet were warm and not wet from sweating, what more can you ask for. I ordered the small and then saw U.S. size 4 - 6.5 and I wear a 7.5 shoe, but they fit perfectly so not sure about the size measurement. I ordered them when they were on sale, and completely worth every penny.

SmartWool socks are the best socks in the industry. The wool is soft enough to be amazingly comfortable and durable enough to not stretch or wear out with a few wears. I have to remind myself to wash them because they don't stretch or smell after continual use. These socks are perfect for outdoor sports from skiing to snowboarding to snowshoeing to winter hiking. Buy a pair.

These socks are lovely. Your footsies will feel padded and supported in all of the right places. They will stay warm without getting swamped with foot-sweat AND they won't stink like your smelly cotton gym socks. No lie, I have been skiing for like ehhh 15 years? And my feet have always been cold. ALWAYS. Well not after I replaced my old thick ski socks with these bad boys. Okay so here's the bottom line... I was about to buy new ski boots because mine were hurting my feet like none other (I thought they were too small and had pressure points everywhere). I had heard I should get these socks to help relieve the pain, keep my feet warm/alive feeling, and just to help the fit of my boot... my goodness it helped. These socks saved me from buying another pair of boots and tossing a perfectly good pair. Buy them!! You'll be glad you did! Trust me! Man I love these socks.

I love SmartWool socks! They're the first pair of socks to keep my feet nice and toasty while skiing for several hours. I thought it was a bit crazy to spend over $20 on a pair of socks, but these are totally worth it.

I LOVE Smartwool socks and have since the first time my tootsies felt the warmth and comfort. I don't ski, but I do ride my horse all winter and was looking for a warm sock that was long enough to pull up over my breeches, and not so thick that it made my boots tight in the calf. This sock delivers! Not so thick that my feet are too warm and just the right amount of cushion in all the right places.Fellow cold weather riders - get a few pairs of these and your toes will be happy all winter!

I have few of these socks for skiing, snowshoeing or any outdoor activities. I absolutely love it. Never bothered me or failed to keep my feet warm. They are extremely breathable and moisture wick. I have toe fungus and it is important for me to have breathable and moisture wick socks. I had a sock for 15 years and now finally is falling apart and wearing off on the bottom. Unfortunately, gotta put that one to sleep.

These socks are amazing. I wear them almost every day (and they don't smell bad). They fit wonderfully, they insulate big time, and they don't stretch out or lose cushion. Definitely worth the expensive price because at this rate, it seems like they will last me 50 years. Highly recommended for daily winter use as well as skiing/outdoor activities.

I will have to let you know after Christmas when these will be in a Christmas sock, or maybe they will be the Christmas socks. They are majorly cute and they feel great, very cushy. They feel like they will definately do the job of keeping feet warm and dry in the snow. Not to mention good for walking to work this winter in San Francisco.Thanks for all the great stuff and service.
