"Really great socks" 11/01/12

I bought these to wear on a hiking trip and I really love them! They're really warm and cute, and now I wear them with leggings and my Ugg boots all the time because they're just so warm! They do shrink some when you dry them, but as soon as you put them back on your feet they are totally fine so no worries!

"warm, but there are better options." 03/09/12

I like how warm they are, however, they got shrunk after being dried. I understand that it's a better idea to air dry them anyway, but it was already done and my other wool socks by Darn Tough still remained their forms and sizes. For socks that cost $20, I expect more.

"These are Expensive. Yet totally worth it." 12/26/11

I recently started a job where I have to wear safety boots with metatarsal guards and high tops every. single. day. These socks make my feet happy. I put them on with a smile on my face in the morning, which is frankly, somewhat of a miracle due to the unholy hour I wake up. These have great cushioning, and the vents on top are absolutely wonderful for keeping my feet from being done with the boots before the day is over. They never creep down my ankle once I put them in place, and they don't stretch out while wearing and washing them often. They feel new every time I put them on after I wash them, and you know how new socks are awesome? These are that.

"The absolute best socks of my life!!!" 12/24/11

I've been wearing Smartwool Medium Cushion Mid and Low Hikers for a decade, and the PHD version is the best! If you have a freakishly narrow foot like mine the PHD version helps to hold the sock close to your foot so your don't have a pile of mess at your toes and cold ankles. I went AWOL and bought Bridgedale on the advice of a pro shop and I hate them. I know Smartwool socks are expensive but I have some 4 year old Smartwools in perfect condition...they really pay for themselves over time. Sorry for the rambling, you would think I bought a car not socks..but they are just that comfy and functional.

"Best Ski Socks I Have Ever Owned!" 12/16/11

After I came across these socks, I will never wear anything else! They keep my feet super warm and dry in my ski boots. The light cushion on the soles make them extra comfy too!

"How do you say WARM FEET? Smartwool Womens PhD Sock!" 09/19/11

Absouletly, without a doubt a very warm sock! Want to keep your feet warm at those football games or playing in the snow with your kids or maybe just plain ole turn your heat off save money on the gas bill warm? Well then try these socks...you wont regret it, just saying!
