"Cozy Comfy Goodness" 01/08/12
I already have Smartwool socks and they rock, so when I read the description and then saw these were a Moosejaw staff pick, I knew I had to get some. They're perfect. Comfortable at work. Feet stay warm when shoeless. No slip-sliding to worry about. They're my new favorite socks. Now I just need five more pairs so I can wear them every day.

I bought this for hiking in Colorado. All my other socks left my toes sore from seams. This blue baby was fantastic! No sore toes, nice and cushiony, absolutely fabulous hike. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say they made me run faster, but I did have one of my days up on Smuggler mountain in them...Worth every penny - I dread the day they die...although I suppose I could just buy some more.

These socks are the ultimate wool socks. They are not bulky so they don't impede your athletic activities, and they have extra padding in certain spots which is really nice. Just because they are not bulky doesn't mean they aren't warm, the are incredibly cozy. I love the shorter length so that I can actually wear them out and about when I'm wearing shorts (my feet get cold easily). Bottom line- Smartwool pHD is the best thing to happen to socks!

I have had multiple people recommend smartwool to me before in the past, but didn't want to spend the money. I needed free shipping, so I threw a few into my order. What a suprise I had. They are so comfortable!!! The color and style is very true to size. The fabric was very soft and wicked moisutre well. Great socks and of course Moosejaw had the best prices.

Hot spots/blisters be gone! I throw these sweet supportive (more so than the last dude I dated), cushioning, moisture wicking socks on when wearing my runners, as my base foot layer on the rugby pitch, or just casual around town. They're like a hug for your foot.

I work retail so I am on my feet all day and my feet are always sweaty, sore and need to breathe when I get home. A friend of mine bought me a pair of these socks and I was amazed at how comfortable they were! They gave me extra cushion and they kept my feet warm but there was this coolness/breatheability that was fantastic! I immediately went out and bought several more pairs of these socks and am phasing out all of my others. I would go cold turkey if I could afford it, but I guess I will just have to do laundry more often until I can stock up! They are also so great for running, really seem to be preventing me from getting blisters! All it takes is one pair and you are hooked!!

I really don't like socks. The whole sweaty feet thing really gets me. But these are GREAT! I got them for hiking, and I've just been wearing them around the house because I love them so much. They keep my feet dry and they're thick without being too bulky. I love the short ones, but I'm planning on getting some of the tall ones as well. Seriously, you need to get a pair. You'll love them!

These socks live up to their reputation. I spent many a day looking for socks to wear while walking that would help prevent heel blisters. I had tried cotton socks and ended up with a huge bloody heel blister. I found these at a local sports store and decided to give them a try. Absolutely no blisters and socks were comfortable. Despite the price, they are well worth owning and are as important to me as the fit of the shoes I wear. Love em!
