"Great but stretches out over time" 03/03/12
This is definitely just a backcountry garmet as it becomes less flattering the more you wear it. That being said, as a backcountry garmet, it is one of the best out there. It is really warm and extremely soft. I used it as my expedition weight on my 3 month trip in alaska. I tried to keep it as clean as possible so I could snuggle up in it at night. However, I didn't need to wash this garmet as much as others because it didn't pick up smell that much. Even when I cooked onion, garlic and other nastiness over my whisperlight it didn't retain the smell for more than 2 hours.

this top is perfect for someone who loves to workout...or someone like me, who loves lounging in comfy clothes while watching tv on the couch eating boxes of cheezits. very flattering fit that im confident will hide the weight i gain from consuming so many cheezits.

This product is awesome! It runs a little small, and is kind of short in the torso, so buy bigger than you think you need....you'll thank me for it later. Basically it is a great all around shirt...can be worn by itself, under something, as a baselayer, pajamas, etc. I have two of them and would like to buy a third! I know it is pricey, but it is well worth the cost. Mine have been through many hardcore backpacking trips, and have held up amazingly well.Buy one!!PS they don't pill either
"Don't want to take it off!" 12/28/10
I love love love this top! I received it right before hell week at our ski hill and it is perfect! I literally wear it all day, from teaching lessons to freeskiing to snowshoeing at night. It's perfect for layering and keeps me toasty (but not too toasty). I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs, medium was perfect. Hope this helps!

I have 2 of these zip-ups and just got one for my girlfriend since she is always wearing mine. The fit is great, so soft and light. Also, the look is very stylish with clean lines. We wear ours everywhere all the time. They hold up well too, I have had mine for a year now and they look brand new. Use Woollite to help preserve the fabric. Definitely worth the price.
"Soft and Flattering" 10/31/10
This is my third smartwool shirt - they are great! I love the feel, and they never stink (really, they don't). The cut is fitted and flattering, and it looks nice enough to wear to work. Fabric is breathable so I don't roast, but wonderfully warm, too. Highly recommended.
"Love it" 01/20/10
I love this top, only problem, it high-lighted to me that 1 of my arms is longer than the other...unlucky me. Other than that, sweet! I am 6' tall & 145 lbs and the length overall was good, but, I will be exchanging the medium for a large for extra arm length.
