"Cute, but low rise"  10/13/10

I find these long underwear to have a lower rise than the others that I own, and for that reason they are definitely not the first ones that I pull out of my drawer to wear. I have the blue and green stripe ones (not currently available on the moosejaw site) and the design is super cute, I've actually thought of wearing them as tights. The feel of them is ok, they aren't nearly as soft/luxurious feeling against my skin as the First Ascent Paradise Base Layers that I have. They are heftier than the other long underwear that I have, so they don't fit under all of my pants (work pants)

I LOVE THESE LONG UNDERWEAR!!! They are the best pair that I have ever owned, and I have a lot because I get cold a lot. They are made of wool so be careful not to dry them because if you do, they seem to get itchy feeling. Overall, they are my top choice!

These are great. I wear leggings under my jeans for most of the winter, and these are some of the best. Very warm and comfortable!

I love the Smart Wool shirt and I love these pants. Just the right thickness and a great fit make these pants a great item for winter. Soft and not at all itchy you don't want to take them off.

"No itching with all the warmth!"  12/17/09

What I love about smart wool is, it doesn't itch and you can throw it in the wash. These bottoms are very very warm and snug your body without binding. I use them skiiing in MN.

"Fantastic"  12/17/09

Smartwool rocks. These pants are perfect when it's super cold out underneath clothing and they also work as a cute stand alone, even when it's in the teens outside. My only complaint is that after 2 weeks of basically solid wear, they are starting to stretch and pill a little. It's to be expected, they're 100 percent merino. Nothing a little washing can't fix. Overall, I give these a 9/10 for helping me survive the brutal winter.
