"I Heart Microweight Smartwool." 06/07/13

I am in love with Smartwool. This microweight crew is excellent! Just enough warmth when you need it. You'll stay dry during even vigorous hiking. Breathability. Comfort. It's got it all. I know you're thinking, "Wow, they want HOW MUCH for a MICROWEIGHT long sleeve shirt?" I assure you it's worth every single solitary penny, and that's a lot of pennies! This is a quality item. It has outperformed on every hike and I've found myself being unable to stop wearing during regular city activities as well, because it's just that amazing. It has a very nice amount of stretch so it makes a great base layer under a t-shirt and doesn't stretch out, even after a week's worth of wearings. Yes. I said a week. This also means that this crew can handle the toughest sweat and still smell rosy. I might not have smelled so fabulous, but this crew did. Once you try it you won't go back to other fabrics so keep your eyes open for discontinued colors that are often 1/3 the original price!

awesome for hiking, biking, whitewater rafting. basically if you do anything outdoors and have unpredictable weather this is your ticket to warm, coolness and comfort!

"need a base layer? this is IT." 04/04/13

after trying out many different base layers i have finally found one i can wear on its own, under a t-shirt, fleece or any other item to layer it up. word of warning: read the label and do not dry on high! mine shrunk up but only about an inch or so... still completely wearable and awesome! perfect length as well... i am 5'6", 130lbs and the small fit perfectly. i wore this in cold temps skiing as well as on a warm sunny day and it was great for both!

"best base layer" 03/20/13

i have a few of these and am never disappointed. great quality, perfect fit, wonderful for those spring hikes to keep the sweat off and keep me warm!
