"No B.O." 02/25/12
If your someone that enjoy being outdoors miles away from a shower this is the product for you. They are warm, breath well, but best of all you can wear it for almost a week straight without it smelling. This go for there socks as well. The only downside is the price, but as we all know we get what we pay for, but they do last so it's money well spent.
"Soft, Warm, Breathes Well, Fits Well" 12/15/11
I have this in both grey (zip T), and black (crew). I like the zip much better as it has the higher neck for more warmth, and the zipper for climate control. I am 5'9" 165 lbs, athletic build, and the medium fits perfectly. This is a great baselayer for a variety of conditions. Its warm when its cold out, and breathes well enough for spring temps too. Its the most comfortable baselayer i have warn, and feels warm even when wet unlike synthetic baselayers. It doesnt dry super fast, but is still good enough.
"Great piece. Super comfy and warm. One problem.." 11/28/11
I picked up both the NTS Midweight and Microweight Zip T Shirts. I am 5'10 and 135 lbs and went with a small for both. Pros: Super comfortable and very warm. Collar for warm necks. Unzip to dump excess heat.Cons: Short sleeves. Collar - sometimes it is longer than the collar of my top layer or sometimes I want to wear it under a shirt/jacket without a collar but that looks funny (I can't blame the shirt for that though.)Neutral: Slimmer fit than the Microweight. Lives up to its "next to skin" name.Overall it is a great piece despite the sleeves being just a tad too short for me. I would definitely recommend it and gave two as gifts last year.
"Soft, warm, light, sexy" 04/11/11
No joke, I found this shirt in the lost and found at work. It had been there a while, so I snagged it. I probably would have never bought it otherwise, but having experienced it, I'm very temped to buy another wool shirt. It's way warm for how light it is, and it doesn't itch at all, it's just pure soft comfort. Great base layer, I'll even use it for insulation in shoulder seasons. I'm pretty svelte, and I've been told I look dreamy in it. Would also make a great tactical turtleneck, and we all know the advantages of the tactical turtleneck.
"Nice, but not much thicker than the light weight version" 02/13/10
Who doesn't love SmartWool? These base-layers will last you for years of use. It feels nice and soft and is really well made. My only issue is that this midweight shirt is only slightly thicker than the lightweight version. If you really want something heavier than the lightweight - step it up to the next weight.
