"Very warm and comfortable; dries quickly" 		          04/13/09
I've taken these to Denali, Rainier, the Rockies, Yosemite, ice climbing - everywhere. They're warm, comfortable and I never have any problems drying them. I used three pairs during a 25-day Denali trip, and I could have gotten by (smell-wise) with two.

What can you say about a pair of socks? I keep buying more and own about 10 pair of these. (I like to waer clean socks). These have kept my feet happy on long heavy-load treks all over the Himalyas!!.

No bullshit, no compromise. Extremely well designed and manufactured mountaineering socks. Put a thin wool or silk liner under this and you're all set. The mountaineering standard.

"Worth every penny." 		          06/24/08
These are my favorite hiking socks. Summer or winter. They make it feel as if you are walking on air. Either my feet don't sweat or they do a super job wicking moisture away from the skin. I never had a blister since switching to these particular socks. I take 3 pair with me when I hike. One to wear, one to change into as a backup, and one pair to sleep in to keep my bag clean. Expensive yes, but worth every penny.

I love these socks! I know they are men's but I had to have them. I usually wear these in my snowboarding boots with a pair of liners, or around town on a particulary cold day. I love them so much I bought my boyfriend a pair and I don't think he took them off all winter!

"Very comfortable socks" 		          03/26/08
Great socks! The merino wool is warm, comfortable, and itchless. There are no hard seams to irritate your feet. Though the socks aren't as lofty as say Thorlo Trekking socks, they do just as great of a job of insulation.

These socks were recommended to me by the guides at Rainier Mountaineering. They work great at eliminating blistering problems, they are very warm, and they stay up well. I am very satisfied with these socks.
