"Top Performer all year round for sweaty people"  02/17/10

I only wear Smartwool after years of trial and error. These have been my staple sock for the past several years. I love them and wear them all year round. Great for high output activities and truly excel with a good breathable boot. On a long cold day I may wear the midweight adrenaline sock but I naturally run very warm. On top of great performance they are comfortable.

"No itch, wears like iron, and the more you wear it the more comfortable it gets."  02/15/10

I have worn other brands of light hiking socks and most if not all cause my feet to sweat. The synthetics like Cool Max does not work with my feet, they sweat and feel wet the whole time I have my boots on. I have used socks that keep my feet temp even, but, they are not as comfortable. Smart Wool has all the requirements (factors) important for me: 1) the sweat/stink factor, 2)comfort & no itch factor and 3) the wear factor, especially with the cost involved.

"Some of my favorite socks"  10/21/09

You can't really go wrong with Smartwool. These socks have been good to me for hiking, mountain biking, or just walking to class in the cold and snowy UP. I highly recommend them as a great sock for so many different uses.

"Really wanted to love these - not worth the price"  03/21/09

i used to only buy smart wools - for many, many years - but finally got sick of them for the following reasonsthe tops are just too darn short and bunch up around my ankle - would a couple more inches be that big of a deal?they don't dry quickly enoughit seems they compress and wear out more quickly than other socksI seriously get more blisters with smarties than any other brand of sockhave turned to "wright socks" for blister free hiking - they really worktrying to get a smart wool devotee to try another brand of sock is impossible - too bad for you!!

"My favorite socks"  10/11/08

I own 5 pairs of these socks and wear them for everyday use, light hiking, road and trail running, and even on the bike. They wick moisture like a sponge, breath well, and I haven't worn through a pair yet. The only things that I don't wear them for is heavy backpacking, super cold days, and skiing.

"Perfect"  08/20/08

The adrenaline socks were awesome on my last trip. The adrenaline's are a lighter sock then then the regular hiking socks by smart wool. They seem to dry a little bit faster, and smell less then the heavier sock which I liked, while still providing comfort and preventing blisters.

"Go get 'em, NOW!"  06/30/08

Bought these for my dad on father's day. He's an outdoorsman who lives in Boise. He loves smart wool. If you have an active man in your life, or if you are a man, these socks are great for wicking away moisture and performing on foot!

"Better than real wool."  06/15/08

Not only do these keep my feet warm, they also look great. Don't go out in the winter without these on.
