"Only the best to pamper your Hobbit feet"

These liner socks rock! Wicks wetness away from your feet. Coupled with a good hiking sock and you are all set. Typically I bring two liners and two socks. Alternate, wash if needed and dry while wearing the other pair. I noticed these seem to be higher quality and slightly thicker than previous pairs I have had.
Spending a few extra dollars on a good pair of liners is definitely worth it.Just one hike with blisters and you will agree.Smartwool Liners keep your feet dry and are lightweight.
I got these after a recent trip with new boots. I then tried wearing these under smartwool medium thickness socks. They fixed the blister problem by keeping any friction between the two sock layers. Moreover, these liners boosted the wicking performance keeping my feet more dry than before (even in warmer weather!!) - which probably also helped prevent blisters too! Thanks smartwool!
Never knew about liners before one of moosejaws employees told me.. I got a pair of them and they are phenom! Under my smartwool light hiking socks always now and my feet stay dry and the temperature stays comfortable.. love them!
Got these last week wore them under Wigwam wool socks and they were great. Worked well as a regular sock on a short hike on Theodore Roosevelt Island in D.C.
I have been hiking for over 40 years and these are the best liner sock I've ever used. When used in conjunction with an outer sock, these wick moisture away from my feet thus reducing the chance for the development of hotspots. Thinking back, I don't think I've ever developed blisters when using this product.
"Excellent light weight sock for when a little warmth is needed."

Wore these socks for a river trip under a pair of seal skins. Could not have had happier feet. These liners added enough warmth without making me sweat. They dried super quick and didn't stink after wearing for about 6 days straight. Threw them in my pack as an afterthought because they were small and light. Turned out to be so valuable that I almost never took them off.
I wear these with my Vasque boots and a pair of Smartwool crew socks and they're excellent. Between the three, my feet are consistently warm when they need to be, cool when they need to be, and comfortable always. These liners do a great job preventing blisters and make hiking a pleasure for my feet. Would recommend a million times over again!
These liners are incredible! My wife and I went on a 12 mile hike to Mt. LeConte Lodge in the Smokey Mountains and these liners were a blessing. My wife had on new boots, and we were afraid she would get blisters going so far the first time in them, but she didn't even have a hot spot. These liners kept her feet cool and dry. We will definitely be buying more for our Grand Canyon/Zion trip this summer.
"stay up well,if you want thicker socks just buy the thicker socks, don't see the point ultimately"

Sorry to give such a grumpy review.I don't care for these sock liners.Even in the heat of summer I prefer a pair of light hikers or Chacos. They discolor easily and are difficult to return to normal so you can't take your shoes off at a friends house or in Japan.
