Don't buy it.Take notice of the vertical channels in the hipbelt. This in combination on really stiff foam make it unbelievably uncomfortable. You will feel like you have bruised hips after a mile with a moderate pack weight. The top lid is not removable and the sloping bottom is dumb. Other than that it is a good pack the frame is nice and the pockets and front access is good. The hipbelt just sucks and it would have been such and easy fix in r&d, but they wanted to be special.

Great packI couldn't be happier with this pack.,,The suspension that some complain about might be a matter of preferrence, but I personally love that the foam is stiffer than on most. I can really dial in the suspension so that my hips are doing their job while the shoulders are chillin'.,,I also like that you can squeeze the lid down and all the straps making it look and act like a 30L bag (actually took it on a plane as a carry-on, and it fit the overhead bin), but when you need the full 65, this baby explodes and takes it all in. It always seems that you can put more gear in. My "standard" load is a 2-person tent, pad, bag, stove and pots, spare clothes, with room for food.,,Fully loaded, water bottles have a hard time staying in their designated pockets - just pay attention and cinch them down. ,,The front comression pocket is also super convenient for gloves, hat, or strapping an extra layer to it.,,Also, don't forget the hip pockets. I keep a small camera in one, snacks in the other.

Overall good packHave used this pack on multiple trips and have been impressed with how comfortable it is to wear. I would prefer a softer pad in the hip belt, but have gotten used to it and appreciate the stability it provides. Love the front access into this top loading pack, keeps you from having to dig as much.
