"Gotta love extra room!"  06/22/11

I use this in my backpacking tent and it's never failed me. I store everything from my light to socks to food up there. It helps get just having some of the extra space that I need when space is tight.

The quality of this piece is nice, and allows a lot of storage options for your tent, however it was not compatible with my vaporlight tent, even though it was not one of the tents listed as incompatible. Doublecheck!

"Great backcountry comfort which weighs next to nothing and takes up little pack space."  11/11/07

This is not at all essential, but it's definitely nice to have one when the tent's filled to capacity and everyone has lots of his or her own little items. It's also useful for drying wet clothes, hanging headlamps as tent lanterns, and storing stuff to which the group needs quick access, like first aid kits.

"Another great design by Sierra Design"  12/04/06

Cool little attic for additional storage in many places. 1st spot is on top. Second spot is a pocket that is divided into 3 sections that hangs down and the last is a zipper pocket. With the adjustable nylong strings you can adjust the tension for the amount of gear you store on top. It also has a hook in the middle for a light or whatever you want to hang from it.

"This is worth it when space is limited in your tent."  07/12/06

I love how this attic actually has features to it. There is a zippered pocket so you can store small items in. There is a hanging pocket that is great for a flashlight when you need to get up in the middle of the night and the attic is large enough to hang towls on to dry.
