"Lightweight, packs tight, and keeps you dry" 12/11/11

I'm a solo backpacker and this is perfect for me because it is lightweight and packs really small so I can stuff it into my backpack. Keeps me dry, but the only downside is that if I have the thing zipped up all the way, then condensation collects on the inside, making my sleeping bag a bit moist in the morning. To combat this, I use a small (5' square) tarp over top of my head so that I can keep the bivy unzipped even in rainy weather, and then no condensation forms inside. Bueno.

"good bivy, will keep you dry" 10/29/11

i have used this bivy twice, once in the snow. it kept me dry nothing got through. there was kinda a lot condensation, but that's only when its all zipped up. it packs up small and is very light.

"Great Bivy for The Price" 11/17/10

I have the original Navassa Bivy and am still loving it. The last time I used it was in a full blown snowstorm. It kept me warm and dry. And I got to wake up to 6 inches of powder. There is a bit of a condensation problem but that is really only noticeable when everything is completely zipped up. And it is only around where your head is. It does have it's perks. It is such a light weight that I don't notice it when I carry it and it packs down small and is very compressible.
