The Sierra Designs Mobile Mummy 600 2-Season Sleeping Bag is a down sleeping bag that allows you to flip over during your sleep, sit up in your tent, and even walk around camp. Packed full of 600 fill DriDown you're provided with a warm, lightweight bag that packs down to a decent sized 7x14 inch stuff sack. The DriDown resists moisture, stays drier if it does get wet and dries faster (than untreated down) so you're prepared for an unexpected leak in the tent or just a soaking wet trip. The 30D polyester ripstop shell is light yet durable to protect the insulation against the dirt and grime of the outdoors. Slip into the bag via the center front zipper, and it'll act more like a jacket than the traditional bag. Your arms can freely exit the self-sealing side armholes for book reading or eating on a cold night. Cool off your feet by slipping them out of the foot box, and from there you can even tuck the box up in the back for a walk around camp. Freedom and warmth.

A new "mummy" concept that works!I bought the SD Mobile Mummy #600/2 Season recently and have had a weekend trip in it. I am very glad I upgraded to this new design from my old mummy bag. My use is in a camping hammock and the features of this bag really "fit" this experience. ,,,,The nearly full length zipper allows easy egress/exit from the bag (especially in a hammock) and this is a great improvement over the traditional mummy bag. Zipper runs easily with no snagging. Zipper allows venting from the top or bottom of the bag. Arm ports are great...love this option - for a little cooling, for fiddling with light/ipod, or reading. The hood is a jacket type...when zipped up it's warm, comfortable, and no pull cords/tabs are involved. Cut is nice and roomy...not a tight mummy design. Comes with a storage mesh bag and a stuff sack.,,,,Design, workmanship and materials are very good. I think the temp. rating is spot on at 40F...warm wearing light underclothes and socks.
