Tent ripped to shreads on a medium windy night.I took this tent out on its 2nd trip on the second nights, found it in a bush 200ft away. The rounded pole had two of the metal segments on the ends literally sheared in half. The strait pole's tension rope had been broken and there were segments scattered for 200ft. The rain fly had 3 L shaped tears. The worst was that mine was the only tent out of 7 that was damaged! Even cheapo summer tents from off brands were fine!,,I called Sierra and they were not helpful at all, and told me I could purchase new poles and fly. When I spend $300 on a good brand tent, I expect it to not be the only tent that breaks. FAIL.

Fabulous tentSorry Amy..........but perhaps a Cougar (or an animal) took a wild spin in your tent but this is perhaps the best tent I've owned and to my count it is #8 over 37 years. I hike/camp probably 27 weekends a year and I'm about 9 trips into tis one. It is by far the best....'nuff said. Durable, cool, warm dew-free rain stopper, wind stopper you name it. Sorry for your luck, Amy.
