"Warm as advertised" 04/06/12
I bought these mostly to wear around the house or run to the mailbox. So far they have been really good. Would be a little bulky to pack for long term hike. I think these are great for recreation camping around the fire. Not as rugged soles as I thought they would be based on the pics.KirkPost Falls, ID
"Perfect compliment to your winter camping." 10/19/11
Do you like winter camping or backpacking? Do you often have cold feet? Well, these are just for you!! I last used these winter camping on a 3 degree night and my feet were toasty warm. There was about 10 inches of snow on the ground, howling wind, and an air temp of 3 degrees.... totally radical, just like these booties. I guess they would even make nice house shoes in the winter too. The bottom of these are stiffened with something thin almost like cardboard, so they arent super packable, but still pack thin. If youre often in cold areas... buy these.
"Too small... But comfy, well made and warm" 12/25/10
If you buy those, definitely go for a size larger than you normally would. I usually wear size 9, which is right in the middle of medium on the Sierra Design size chart, and the medium booties were really too tight for me. Fortunately, even if they are the men version, they fitted my girlfriend very nicely so I decided to give them to her. Other than this size problem, the booties really rock : they are warm even outdoor in the cold Canada winter; they are very confortable and they look great. Also, just the right height to be useful when you need to go out in the snow but not too much for indoor use.
"Warm booties" 10/29/10
The booties are really warm, and have an internal elastic cord at ankle level, and another one at cuff level, what is great for keeping the heat inside. I wanted an insulated booties to stay at home, and for using them in the tent or refuges at high mountain in winter...and these booties are the perfect ones! The sole is thick enough for avoiding to feel the cold floor and for walking very comfortable.The booties don't include a stuff sack, but I bought the small size of "Sea to Summit Seam Sealed Stuff Sacks" and they fit perfectly!!! I'm more than glad with this buy. Warning: the booties are a bit short, so order a bigger size!
"Great for just chillin" 10/15/10
There really warm and comfy but not meant for much more than gettin the mail. Kinda disappointed the fuzzy is only in the top and the sole put there awesome for what they are. durable sole, comfy, little goofy, totally my style. Go for it
