The Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed 600 2-Season Sleeping Bag is a bed style sleeping bag for comfortable sleeping positions while camping. The two season bag has a comfort rating of 37°F, for summertime backpacking trips. The mummy style shape looks like a regular old sleeping bag, but the similarities end there, as you slip inside the zipperless front and pull the integrated comforter over your body. So much rejoicing for back, side, and stomach sleepers, whatever the position you can find a way to get comfy. The integrated pad sleeve prevents you from rolling off your mat and you aren't even forced to keep your feet inside the foot box. The 600 fill duck DriDown is cozy, warm and is prepared to take a stand in wet weather. Slip your arms in the integrated sleeves and prep for tomorrow's hike.

Comfy for Side-Sleepers!I picked this sleeping bag up a month or so ago and I've used it a couple of times. It's great for anyone that sleeps on their side! The built-in comforter is heavier and doesn't seal as well as a traditional style bag but it's so much better getting a night's sleep like you do in your own bed. It compresses down to almost nothing and packs nicely!
I love how easy it is to get in/out of this thing. It's so nice to not wrestle with zippers and have them getting caught on fabric every inch. Just slide in/out and you're good!
The only negative is that the down fill is quite stinky compared to all the other down products I've owned but that's only a minor comment. I still love the thing!

10,000 foot overnight in OctoberThe mountain peaks nearby are always cold at 3AM even in August, but October night camping on a peak with winds blowing and fall temperatures risks an all night sleepless shiver festival . I figured it's warm at sea level, how bad can it be on the peak. My friend always carries a thermometer and when we arrived just before midnight it was around 38 degrees with a steady 20-25mph breeze. There would be no tent for me, the lure of an almost full moon and star gazing was too strong, so I laid out a pad and slipped into the new bag curious to see how warm it would be. I was warm and comfortable the entire night. Wind gusts were strong enough to push me around, but did not cool my body. My friend's thermometer stayed in the 30s all night, and I slept warm and comfortably able to turn side to side as needed. note: I did wear a wool cap and a very thin pair of merino wool tights (the tight were thoroughly ridiculed by the women). ,,This is much more than a summer bag. My rating...super!!!

Great above 35 degreesThis bag is just as compressible and comfy as I hoped. No this is not a super puffy and warm bag. It stuffs to a very small size in your pack and lofts up nicely, perfect for summer backpacking trips into the backcountry. I'm 6'0" tall and the length is just right.

Best sleeping bag experience I've ever hadWhat a cool bag! Slept comfortably and never got into any awkward positions or bumped into any cold zippers in the middle of the night. Also packs up tiny. 10/10
