Great Jacket! The "trend fit" is a exactly what I was looking for! All of my other jackets were way too baggy. There's insulation for the core section, but the sleeves don't have any. This proved not to be a problem riding in Vermont with temps in the high 20s. I only had a baselayer underneath and was good to go. Pockets on this are pretty minimal, so be prepard to only bring the essentials. Because the fit is pretty slim, I'd be surprised if you could fit a down vest underneath. You can definitly squeeze some light layers in though. Overall, this is a great jacket. It's easily the best one I own. The sleeves run a bit long (I'm 5'6" 150lbs.) Not a deal-breaker.
