If you have a lot of big manly stuff, keep it dry in this big manly bag.I'm 5'4", 135lb female. Forget the tent, I'll just live in this bag. If my inflatable kayak is deflated by an alligator, this bag will become my personal raft with enough room for Leonardo DiCaprio (the husband says the tent is no longer an option for me...). The bag comes equipped with plenty of loops to attach any equipment that would not fit in the bag (really?!). The closure is atypical- instead of the sides snapping together there are 2 straps that pull the sides down and 2 straps that go over the top and snap on the front. The handles are located in convenient spots for tugging and pulling on this beast. One of the few bags that is reasonably priced and has a decent hip belt. I say decent- its big and padded but it isn't Osprey-style form-fitting....and it's too big for me- I had to cinch it down all the way and it fits, but not snugly. I'm making it work because I can't think of a better piece of gear for a 2.5 month kayak trip on the Mississippi River. Allons-y!
