The Sea to Summit Comfort Light Mat is a backpacking air mattress for a cushioned sleep off of the cold ground. The sleeping pad looks like a bunch of little air pillows, spaced out at the head and foot to reduce weight, while a double layer, densely packed area of them are found at the torso to increase comfort. At only 16 ounces of weight, the whole thing packs down into the included 3.5"x6.5" stuff sack, so you don't really have to think too much about how you're going to get it into your backpack. The large valve is multi-functional, making for fast inflation/deflation and you can even fine-tune the air pressure to your comfort level by pushing the orange button. The mat includes a repair kit, 6 patches and 1 spare silicone one-way valve flap, bring some of it with you into the field, and leave a few at home for safe keeping.

Multi-function valve for easy inflation, deflation and fine tuning of air pressure
40D rip-stop nylon face fabric offers the right balance between weight and durability
Extended storage instructions: mat should be laid flat, folded as few times as possible with valve open
Rated 5 out of
Light, compact, and comfy.Stats: ,,Me: 5’ 9” 150 lbs ,,Friend: 5’9” 190 lbs ,,,,Pros: ,,Light: Compared to what I owned before,,Compact: Packed, smaller than a Nalgene bottle ,,Fairly Thick: about 2”,,Comfortable: My body never touched the ground while I laid on this mat, even while sleeping on my side. It’s also pretty warm. I feel that the air sprung cells aren’t a gimmick, I laid on my friends Exped pad and I felt that my weight wasn’t as evenly distributed on it, also, the Exped felt rather bouncy compared to this mat. ,,Bonus: Deflates instantly when you pop the valve open making it really easy to pack. Inflating it is also easy thanks to the one way valve.,,,,Cons:,,“Not comfortable” Friend’s opinion (the one mentioned in the stats) he could feel his body touching the ground even with the pad firmly inflated. Not recommended for heavier people.,,Expensive but worth it,,,,I would recommend this product to friends, and tell my enemies to stay away!
