The Sea to Summit Alpha Utensil Set. The Alpha utensils have thicker and sturdier handles than the AlphaLight series, but are still very lightweight. The set includes a knife, fork and spoon (three items) plus a mini-carabiner to hold them together. The individual utensils in this set have several holes punched out of the handle to reduce weight and the bottom hole is hexagonal shaped. Each piece is a different size hex wrench (3mm, 4mm and 5mm).

Not RecommendedFirst issue: Overpriced. Second issue: Used them once.. then had to throw them out. (Sure... lightweight, durable, easy to wipe down, clean).. however, make the mistake of putting them in the dishwasher once (even though they are suppose to be SO durable) and forget it.. they are ruined. (nothing in the packaging mentioned not dishwasher safe). Durable.. I think not. Whatever coating it talks about having that is so important to keep the alloy properties from mixing with food, completely wore off in one run of the dishwasher. It caused them to now have a very rough, not-at-all smooth surface to them, which makes them useless/unwanted. A waste of money.

I love my things full sizedI bought them for all of my backpacking, camping and climbing trips, and it is so awesome to have a super light, portable, and actually functional set of utensils... And for a dude with larger hands, its nice to no longer need to mess with the tiny plastic sporks that came with my cookware. All around just awesome.

Great UtensilsSome folks might prefer some all-in-one spork thingy with a sharp edge on one side. I like these. There's a fork for stabbing, a spoon for scooping, and a knife for cutting. Keep them all together with the included mini-biner. Hang 'em outside your pack so they be all clankety clank scare the bears away.

Light, Light, LightThis set is light. the holes are already drilled into the handle, the provided 'biner is titanium as well, so the whole set stays together and weighs virtually nothing. its compact enough to be in any cooking kit. very happy with my purchase.

Nice addition to my toolboxI got these for my rucksack because they're light, strong and if I ever need to work on my truck I can grab the spoon and knife and go to town. Seriously nice set.
