They are powerful, comfortable and when combined with the Freeride binding, they rip with minimal effort. The TX Pro is actually a softer flexing boot for and aft but much stiffer laterally than the T2X. They run a bit small. I thought I would have trouble getting used to them but the transition seemed natural. I have only used them for one uphill adventure and they were (amazingly) much more comfortable than my T2X's! There was enough forward flex in the walk mode that I did not have to use the heel lifter very much. Again, pleasantly surprised. Overall, I think I'm happy with the choice.
