"Scarpa Replacing these....Please think this through!"

My feet are sculpted...Nice forefoot, high arches, narrow heel. They look good in a pedicure chair (yeah right), fitting climbing shoes not so easy. Tried many brands, none really fit. I don't roll in $ so needed a shoe to boulder and lead sport climb in. Footwork; these excel, overhangs; no problem, edging; better than good. I won't lie-I wouldn't stay in them all day, but, I'm not ripping them off my feet either. A U.S 10 down a size = 42, wrong! They don't stretch, so a 42.5, perfect. Rumor: Scarpa replacing them, if true, maybe the next shoe is great. As for me and my spectacular feet…I saved my pennies and bought a second pair...just in case!
These shoes are Awesome! My old shoes were the Scarpa Techno which are great shoes, but they weren't very aggressive so I struggled with big overhangs and small holds. I noticed a significant difference when I switched to the vapors. The laces do make them a slight pain to put on and take off, but I prefer it so I can get the fit exactly how I want. I would recommend going a half size smaller than you would normally.
Just got these shoes and tried them out for the first time. The description says it all "A powerful and technical, high-performance shoe that craves footwork challenges" I'd have to agree, wearing them tonight I got an added boost when standing on small holds. I have yet to use them outside but can't wait to see how much better they make me outdoors as they did indoors. I already own a pair of Scarpa Techno's and love them, the Vapor's are a great addition. Sizing them I'd go an entire size down from that you normally wear. My Techno's are a 10 so I got these in a 9.5 (wish I got them in a 9.) Overall a great shoe and I know they will last all the abuse I throw at them.
