"Bomber boot for technical and non technical terrain" |
03/30/09 |
| I purchased these boots for climbing Orizaba (18,600 feet), and they do stand for their product description: I used them right out of the box, with no painful spots, climbed through rock, iced goulottes and 45 degrees glacier. SUPERB performance. I used my PETZL VAZAK FL (obviously purchased at Moosejaw). Overall a highly recommended "do it all" boot. Size is fairly accurate too! | |

| I replaced my La Sportiva EVO S with this boot. Far more support and better construction than La Sportiva. Scarpa is a couple of notches above La Sportiva. | |

"They will reach numerous summits in the next few years!" |

| Phenomenal performance right out of the box. Took them on a 17+ mile 2,500' gain hike for their first outing and they performed flawlessly. They have a really small footprint, and would likely work best for a medium-narrow foot. Can't wait to use them on Gannett Peak and Grand Teton in August!

One of my climbing partners was so impressed with the light weight that he is in the process of a buying a pair for himself for the same trip to WY. | |
