"I Highly reccomend it for high altitude mountaineering up to 6000-6500m do the math for feet- X3"  06/05/08

General comments I bought these boots for an October expedition to Nepal's Himalaya. From the few reports I found around they seem to be a good choice. However, I was lured by the the new alveolite based technology and I purchased first Vasque Radiator. The Radiators are awesome boots if you have really flat feet. When I mean flat I mean really FLAT. I felt my toes like being caught in a vice , vertically. Width wise they were good, but toe space in vertical direction is minimal and does not allow a thick sock. Obviously I returned them. I went back to my first choice, the Omegas. I ordered them. What a difference! The outer boot looks very durable and as crampon-proof as you could ask

"Terrific boots for the high and cold. True to size, climb like a single boot"  10/13/06

WHAT A GREAT BOOT. LIGHT AND WARM. I OFTEN HAVE HEEL ISSUES BLOCKEDKEYWORD NOT IN THESE BABIES. FITS THE GRIVEL LITE CRAMPON LIKE IT WAS A CUSTOM BUILD. FITS AS SIZED - MEDIUM WIDTH WITH LOTS OF TOE ROOM (BIG CHANGE FROM THE ALPHAS). CAN THERMO-MOLD THE LINER, I LIKE MINE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.
