"Best Boot Ever" 		          01/31/10
I worn boots from Vasque, Asolo, Montrail, and many others, but this is far the best boot that I've ever worn. Perfect fit for a low volume foot with almost instant break-in. Not exactly a light weight boot but is not a overly heavy boot either but with all the support. Never had a blister with these boots. The only thing that I would change would be a better insole with a little more cushion.

"Quality boot that has just replaced my slippers and old boots" 		          01/20/10
Just got these boots & they are the best boots these size 12 feet have ever worn. Upon opening the box I was impressed by the level of craftsmanship. The meticulous attention to detail is obvious in the stitching (inside & out), materials, & styling. Slipping them on for the 1st time was plug & play with virtually no breaking in necessary. The inside is completely lined with a continuous lining that is free of blister causing seams. These are the lightest boot that I have ever owned. In fact, while I am writing this in my bed, I am wearing them instead of my fuzzy slippers because they are that comfortable.

Loved them in the store. They didnt have the size I needed so I came home and ordered them and they are being shipped today should get them in two days. Will be out in them right as soon as they get to my door. Cant wait. Sorry nothing helpful here. :)

Scarpa makes great products and frankly the Kailash is no exception. I use it for mid-weight backpacking trips. Great all-around shoe that is more fashionable than the standard issue boot.

"Buy these if you want a great hiking boot that not many people have." 		          09/28/09
These boots were 2008 BackPacker Magazine Editor's Choice, and in 2009 BackPacker Magazine said the Kailash improved since last year's review. That was all I needed to hear or read (of course I still read the whole article..!). So that in it self should make you buy these boots. They fit really good out of the box and fit even better once you break them in. I just wish they made the Kailash in a non Gore-Tex model :(

GREAT FIT ALOT OF SUPPORT I HAVE A NARROW FOOT AND IT FITS GREAT WORE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT DID NOT NEED ALOT OF BREAK IN TIME. HAS ALOT OF ANKLE SUPPORT.

These arrived just in time for a long weekend in the Senandoah's. Very good all around shoe. Reinforced toe great against rocks in your path, and stiff snug heel in the back. Great ankle support as well. I thought the ventilation was pretty good, never felt like my feet were getting too hot, even on a pretty stale June weekend. Never had wet socks with some minor stream crossings. Only drawback may be if you have wider feet. Scarpa's a built awesome for a standard foot, may be a little squeeze if you have a wider foot.

I love everything about this boot. They fit perfectly, with good heal grip and lots of toe room. Top it off with great flexibility light weight and above all comfort and you can't go wrong. this is a aaa+ buy.
