• Rock Climbing Shoes - it is recommended you size down 1/2 to 1 full size from your casual shoe size.

• Mountaineering Boots - size up about 1/2 size, depending on your desired fit.

• Ski Boots - Scarpa ski boots are measured in Mondo sizing. Neat. Please note that many boot sizes will share the same size shell, while the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to size down up to a 1 full Mondo size, depending on their desired personal fit.

Unless otherwise noted or converted for you already in the size options, all Scarpa non-plastic footwear uses European sizing
1 Euro whole size = 0.26 inches
1 US whole size = 0.33 inches

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoes i've had yet These are by far the most comfortable climbing shoes I've worn yet. I can wear them all day and my feet don't cramp and my toes don't feel like they're too smashed, yet I can still stick the small toe holds and smear like a champ when needed! They've held up to a good bit of abuse so far as well, and seem like they're going to last through another year or two's worth! They fit true to size, with just enough room I can wear some socks with them for the colder climbing months. I'll likely buy another pair when these finally do wear out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Beginner Shoes I bought these to impress my girlfriend with my style when we go bouldering together. So far I can tell you they're comfy, stylish and have been better than the dirty rental shoes at the bouldering gym. They hold up well, have decent grip on the bottom, nice heel padding for heel hooking and don't hold a stench like Evolv's are famous for doing. Overall good shoes for a beginner like me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Climbing Shoes Excellent shoes. They're designed for a more narrow foot. And the heel pocket is slightly oversized compared to the proportions of the entire shoe, but after a few weeks of breaking in they do form to the foot quite nicely. I wear a men's 11 in all of my casual footwear, and the Moosejaw sizing chart recommended a 44.5 in UK sizes for me. This was not the right size for my foot. I ended up returning them and getting a size 46. With a little breaking in they fit great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great beginner shoe Bought this for a friend who started climbing with me. He has used it for a month and he says its really comfortable. He said that it doesn't really provide much energy transfer when he's pushing off, but I don't think its meant for that. I see it as great begginer shoe to get people's feet wet for climbing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them! These shoes are great for any type of climbing. They're much more comfortable than other climbing shoes I've had. Scarpa makes great shoes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all around, beginner shoe I've had these for 10 months and have climbed a lot in them. They were my first shoe, so when I bought them I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I didn't have a lot to choose from but the price was right and I could find a pair in stock that fit (later I realized that I got these a little too big but they still worked fine). They are comfortable and much better than what most gyms will rent you. I've used these a lot in the gym and they are fine for routes most beginners are using. Once you start getting into more overhanging routes you will probably want something else, but if you know what you are doing you can make it work. I've had a few good days of climbing on sandstone and a couple days on granite. They seem to stick to sandstone like glue, I didn't have as much luck with granite but that could have been due to my lack of experience at the time. After 10 months they look like they are ready for a resoling. Even though I just bought a new pair of higher end shoes, I will definitely be holding on to these. These would also be perfect if you are climbing all day on easier routes and don't want to eat through the rubber on your expensive specialized shoes.
