"Nice very light mountaineering boots suitable for backpacking" |
08/16/09 |
| Very light (!!!) boots that fit my wide feet (used the same size as running shoes). No pain after 20 miles! (first time in my life). Provide good ankle support and feel very good on rocks and snow. Did not try on glacier yet but expect it being as good. After couple hundred miles looks as durable as good leather boots. Flexible enough for being used as approach or general backpacking boots (for those who need good ankle support as I do). | |

"Awesome!" |

| Light, comfy, great fit, well made. Sturdy lightweight boot, these even have some cushion under the cushioned insole, you could easily walk for miles on long aproaches with ease! Great super light boot for rough terrain backpacking or mountaineering. Sole is fairly stiff with good traction and rockered in the right spot for effortless walking. If you need a light, sturdy boot that will take anything you throw at it, this is it! | |

"great lightweight mountaineering boot, snug fit, excellent for longer approach hikes" |

| I was very happy to see you had SCARPA boots as I have an old pair of Frenny boots 1st year of production. I love those boots for ice and mixed climbing, but they are a bit too stiff for walking long distances. I needed a boot I could trek in Nepal with yet still climb 60 degree faces in. I was excited to see the Charmoz GTX was using the FT last my old Frenny's have. The FT last is a bit lower volume for a nice snug fit and an awesome fit in the heel/ankle area. After getting the Charmoz in the mail I was more excited at how light these boots are, and after hiking in them I was sold. These boots walked effortlessly, no frankenstein slapping of the toes at all, and I can still front point i | |

"Really good!" |

| These boots are really good! Might just be me, but they fit perfectly on my feet. Great support around the ankle, better than anything I've tried before. I would recommend these boots to everyone. And of course, 1480 grams makes the trip a lot more easier. They are not as warm as Freeney for example, so if you need boots for really cold days and harsh climate, you should really consider spending some more money. But besides that, they're perfect. | |

"Great boot, Superb quality, and SUPER COMFORT." |

| Mr. Stewart, I beat you to this one, you suck! These boots are AWESOME. I have used La Sportiva Trango S evo's and these are better in my opinion. The quality and materials that go into the production of these boots are the best I have seen. If you want a do it all boot summer/late spring and early fall boot, this is the ONE, buy it and see for yourself. This boot fits my feet, but that's just me, so make sure to buy it, walk around the house and see if it hurt or is too loose, basically make sure it fits. If it does you'll be very happy with your purchase. Take that Jon, Scapa Charmoz to the face, HIYAA | |
