"My Fourth Pair of Salomons and perhaps my favourite"

Salomons always surpass my expectations for comfort and these shoes are no exception. I generally prefer regular laces, but unlike my XA Pro GTX boots, the shoe version doesn't loosen up on the trail. These shoes fit a half size big so you might want to try them on in the store first (I'm a 9.5, I wear a 9 in these). They are a good looking shoe, viewing them online doesn't do the colors justice. They are super cushioned and rugged without being big and clunky or heavy. They have reflective bits on the sides and the goretex keeps the yucky stuff out.

"Still the best trail runner!"

I love this shoe for trail running and also for just about anything that involves rain and mud. I use it for hiking and sometimes just walking around town when it rains. It is really waterproof but still breathable. I love the easy pull laces. The shoe also has great forefoot flex for a non-minimalist design.
