The Salomon Women's Speedcross 3 Shoe is a trail running shoe that breathes. The outsole is capable of propelling you over various types of terrain you'll meet on the trail, sturdy on rock, and plenty of grip on grass or dirt. The lightweight upper allows air to pass through while also being abrasion- and water-resistant so it can take on the changing weather. The debris stays out as well while the injected EVA midsole cushions underfoot. Cinch the QuickLace™ tight and the Sensifit™ system cradles the foot for a comfortable run.

MEASUREMENT GUIDE

If you are unsure of how to find your foot measurement, use the instructions below. You will need a sheet of paper, ruler, pen, and a pair of socks you intend on wearing with the shoes you pick out.

• While wearing the socks, stand on the sheet of paper and place the heel of your foot against the wall. Make sure your heel is wedged firmly against it.

• Use the pen and ruler to draw a straight line just in front of your big toe.

• Use the ruler to measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew in front of your big toe.

• Once you have your measuremet, refer to the Foot Measurement Size Conversion chart above.

• Now treat yourself to a candy bar. You've worked hard today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'em so these are my second pair! The Speedcross 3 just might be the most comfortable hiking/walking/trailing shoes I've ever owned! I had my old pair for 2 years, and they've been with me not only on a daily basis but also for 2 trips to Costa Rica, and 1 to Antigua. I've hiked up volcanoes, climbed down to the base of waterfalls, trailed through rainforests, horseback rode, and even played Lacrosse in them. ,,,,I wear them everyday during Lacrosse season (coaching), and I've never had a problem with my legs aching. I have "bad knees", yet these are comfortable all day. ,,,,This new pair is just as comfortable as the old!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and so comfy If you have feet that are slightly wide, need orthodic inserts and hate the way the doctor recommended shoes look then this shoe is for you!! I searched for two years for a shoe that was comfortable, helped with my foot troubles and looks good and these fit the bill! I love love love them! I don't need my inserts and my feet don't get fatigued. I've never owned a lighter more comfortable shoe in my life! And don't let the laces scare you. They work great and you never have to retie your shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solomon is #1 I was introduced to Salomon sneakers about 5 years ago and now they are all I wear. They make them in a plethora of styles for any purpose (running, hiking, cross training, snow boots, lighweight/heavyweight) and are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. I own about 13 pairs and I can honestly say there has only been ONE pair that didn't fit my foot appropriately. Salomon also makes a great clothing line if interested. I bought a fantastic pair of workout pants and matching jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pefect for Hiking I bought these trail runners with hiking in mind--for those times when boots are necessary. I originally ordered a 9 (my usual running shoe size is a 9AA), but found them just a touch short and ended up with a 9.5. Since narrow widths are hard to come by, I specifically chose these based on reviews that recommended them for narrow feet, and the fit is perfect even without the narrow width. Very light, good traction; everything I was looking for. Excellent customer service from Moosejaw!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weird fit First of all, I have a narrow foot. These shoes were really a tight fit and I had to go up 1/2 a size. But, the biggest problem was the inner molding on the shoe rubbed the inside of my foot. So, with every step I could feel this piece hitting my foot. I returned the shoe. Then at a local shop I decided to try on the same shoe just to compare. Had no problems at all. So, i guess I got a bad shoe. So far so good. But, if you have a wide foot you may want to look at a different shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome I was worried about cush with these, but unnecessarily. They have great ground feel, plus enough underfoot comfort, definitely itely not excessive. I have an average width foot with toes that appreciate the ability to spread, so with that I'll say these are not good for a certified wide foot, but they are fine for mine. They run true to size. No slipping around on the wet trail. These shoes are keepers. I've been warmly welcomed to the world of Salomon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic shoe I bought these shoes a month ago to replace my old running shoes. I work as a nurse and these shoes are excellent to work in for 12 hr shifts as well as run in outside! They are durable, supportive, and chic. I have a good feeling these shoes will last awhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit I bought these a month ago for a future wind rivers trip and as a last effort to relieve my shin splints. The fit is great! I haven't had any hot spots from trail running, the arch support is just enough, and my shin splint pain has definitely improved.

I walk/run on a gravel trail. I used to run in Nike's but the debris kicked up into the heel/ankle of my shoe (even when walking) made it impossible to enjoy my run. Anyone have experience with the Women's Salomon Speedcross 3 on a gravel trail?

Asked by: Jennjenn1020
Hiya, thanks for your question! Like most shoes, you might occasionally get rocks in the heel, especially if you are running downhill on gravel. Unfortunately, there's no way to avoid that. Hope this helps!
