Hi! I am going skiing in Colorado in January and was wondering if these would be ok to wear as outerwear to ski in.  Are they waterproof? And will they be warm enough to wear skiing with insulated leggings under them?

Asked by: jkenn34
I live in Colorado, and last new years eve it -34 for the midnight fireworks, it never got above 0 during the day. Get yourself a pair of real ski/snowboarding pants, and wear base layer pants underneath. Also get wool socks (like real, 100% wool socks). Wearing several pairs of cheap socks at once inhibits the circulation in your feet and ends up making them colder, where one pair of good socks and a good pair of insulated snow boots will keep them nice and toasty.
