"Perfect for what I use it for." 		          05/18/08
I can't speak to how this pack works for ultra runs, I bought this for running to work in the summer, which is about five miles one way. the pack is the perfect size for a change of clothes and a pair of flip flops. The adjustable straps allow you to get the fit just right. The slim size doesn't interfere with your arms and I barely notice I'm wearing it while I run.

"Its a Super Sexy Salomon Backpack" 		          11/12/07
Killer backpack. The shoulder straps are very thin but durable and comfortable. Its also got this cool adjustment on it. You pull a zipper and the bag gets twice as big. Great way to haul around a lunch on a hike then compress it and make it smaller on the way back

"For a trail marathon there is nothing better." 		          07/10/06
The pack was awesome. I used it for the Leadville Trail Marathon (10,000 to 13,000 ft. altitude run). It held all the water I needed for the first 16 miles + gear when the cold rain started. The pack was light weight and did not dig into my shoulders even when full. The racing chest strap kept the pack snug and secure without chafing. The Moosejaw staff were very knowledgable not only on the gear but also on the conditions under which I would be using it.
