These pants give off the aura of a well designed pair of pantaloons, but, in use, only partially amazing. At first touch, the material is fantastical. It is soft and voluptuous. Then you put them on. They're true to size and cut like pants should be cut: not too baggy and not too hipster (slim).Taking them on the slopes, you realize that they're nicely insulated and well waterproofed. You also notice that your bottom half is very comfortable in low 30 degree (Fahrenheit, of course), rainy weather. After only 2 days of use, it was noticed that my snowboard bindings (or the act of resting my board on my leg up long ski lifts) have caused a number of small tears at the bottom of my dominant leg. Additionally, there is a faux pocket flap at the back of the pant that is stitched on. At some point, the flap was pulled, tearing a small hole on the rump. Overall, great pant, but may not last long. Fabric quality and some design decisions leave this pair wanting for more.
