These were originally my second choice, next to the Vasque Breeze, but after I tried them on, the Conquests sprinted to first place. They feel absolutely luxurious. Like, big puffy skate shoes luxurious. On paper, they're the exact same shoe as the more expensive Comet 3D GTX, with the exception of the chassis, though after trying both shoes on, the Conquests seem to be a bit narrower than the Comets. Worth noting- they run somewhere between .5 and 1 size larger than your actual shoe size. They're very light, true to the advertised weight, but you can tell by holding one that the quality is outstanding. Solid arch support, deep tread, and truly waterproof up to the last inch of the tongue.
