"Very lightweight without skimping on stiffness"  06/01/13

I gotta say. I didn't do too much homework on Salewa before I bought these boots. But man were these puppies a surprise to my feet this past winter. I live in New England so I tend to spend my winters going up any number of ravines, gullies, or pillars in the White Mountain area, and these boots performed, time and time again. I've got a high volume foot but luckily with the Multi-fit foot beds, I was able to remove the top layer of the insole which provided a glove like fit for my feet. Also Salewa's 3F system kept my ankle firmly in place, even on the steepest of approaches, and the steel cables associated with the 3F system made me feel even more b.a.Comfy, breathable, lightweight and cool looking; You can't go wrong.
