The Topo Meridian Knife by SOG is your first view of topographic construction embodied into knife design. We know that you will think it is as stunning as we do. But beauty is not only skin deep. Because SOG's patent pending topo construction creates a tactile outer layer using stepped ergonomics that is comfortable, novel, and functional. Immerse yourself into features that not only showcase the SOG brand but also lighten the weight and provide more finger contact for a surer grip. Spencer Frazer chief designer “I am very excited about this new approach that we came up with. This skeletal robotic design compiled of anodized aircraft aluminum layers, steel liners and G10 texture is sure to be a trend setter.”
Perhaps the wildest design that we have ever seen... and maybe one of the coolest. SOG continues to delight with innovation and forward thinking to bring you products that make you stand out, products that are as individual as you are.

"Nice Sharp, Sturdy Knife!" 12/13/10
The Knife it's self is flawless, the spring is sturdy however it can ware out and slow the opening of the knife. For me this is not a big deal because I don't need a quick open on my knife but depending on what you plan on doing it could mean the difference.
"Great knife. Sturdy." 07/02/08
Most of my knifes are sogs, and I've never had many problems with them. The Topo lives up to the brands reputation. The knife is outstandingly sturdy, and features very smooth action. The only drawback is the open lettering on the handle, which allows dirt and grime to enter the spring and slow the opening. On the whole, I've been very happy with it. Great knife.
